Hello everyone, I'm a new member and need your help.

You need to be aware I'm completely non computer literate so you'll need to spell any solutions out for me and for that I apologise lol.

I'm trying to reboot my laptop after getting a virus from the net and the cds that came with the laptop just don't work. Its a laptop by a company called time that went out of business a long time

While rebooting theres a brand name of 'GHOST' and its gets to about 75% before askinmg for the 2nd disc. Once I insert this it just gives me a message saying that the file belongs to the wrong span set. I have no idea what this means and really need my laptop for work.

I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Any ideas you have, could you message them to me directly as I'm not sure how to access this forum area again.
